General Meeting
The Garden Club of New Haven is pleased to welcome Gilles Carter, a longtime New Haven resident, highly regarded entrepreneur, and son of GCNH Past President Louise Carter.
Gilles will share insights from his recent research and photography of pollinators in the Connecticut region. His work highlights the essential role pollinators play in sustaining ecosystems and biodiversity, offering a compelling and visually rich exploration of the remarkable species.
Gilles currently serves on the Board of the Connecticut Audubon Society. He began his career as an entrepreneur in the food and agriculture business before becoming a film and video producer for PBS and the National Endowment for the Humanities, among other organizations. He was educated at the University of Montreal and Princeton University.
