The mission of the Scholarship Committee is 1) to organize and manage all aspects of the scholarship given by The Garden Club of New Haven to a local recipient (in the years when the GCNH offers a scholarship) and 2) to propose candidates for national or state-wide scholarships awarded annually by the GCA or the NGC/FGCCT. The Committee communicates with the Chair of the Civic committee to determine candidates for the Florence Bradley Award. The Committee communicates with any potential recipients of GCNH scholarships and arranges presentations by them to the membership during a General Meeting.
