Bench Show - Interpretive Design

Jones Auditorium, CT Agricultural Experiment Station 123 Huntington Street, New Haven, CT 06511
Organized by Billie Ladd
The last of our bench shows before the Flower Show on May 10.   The design is interpretive.  This means a design in which components are selected and organized to portray a theme, mood or atmosphere.
The theme in this show is "Little House on the Prairie" and the quotation from Laura Ingalls Wilder, "The real things haven't changed.  It is still best to be honest and truthful, to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and to have courage, when things go wrong".  Think wind, dustbowl, farming, a hard life - whatever our thoughts and ideas are about the time of "Little House on the Prairie".
As always, contact Billie or Vicki for help.  Remember that you are welcome to do your design with a partner.  Have fun!!
Please bring your designs to Jones Auditorium between 10:30 and 11:30.  Looking forward to seeing all of your creations.
