Bench Show – Reflective Design

Monday will be the second floral design bench show, Reflective Design.  This is a “contemporary design style in which reflecting elements are included; it is not a design placed in front of a mirror”.  Go online and you will find hundreds of ideas.  This afternoon I went to Home Depot and bought a piece of pipe that I am, hopefully, going to use as my container.  It is metal and very reflective.  I also bought some silver paper, silver pipe cleaners and silver confetti at Hobby Lobby.  I am not sure what I am going to do with all of these but they are reflective and I look forward to playing with them and coming up with something.  Check out the Bench Show on Monday.  Better yet, look around your home for something reflective, buy a few flowers, get creative and enter the bench show.  Remember, you can work with a partner.  Need help?  Let me know.  Information about the design and rules can be found in the Schedule on our Website.
